See that swirl? What’s up with that? There was !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Compression is good, though (140 PSI in every cylinder). Is it just some moisture because this sat for a while during the rainy PNW winter?

I’m assuming/hoping that those are bubbles and not chunks which came out with the oil, right?

I’d change it and check it after a short interval and make sure it still looks normal. Could be condensation, could be serious engine problems.

A lipophobic compound, most likely crud dissolved in  water from combustion. Not enough for concern.

Did you run a magnet near it? Any chance it’s just your normal metallic dust coming off a magnetic drain plug ?

Might just be lighting, but the black swirl looks like the right color and surrounding oil looks water contaminated

What part of the spark plug was the oil on? If it was on top I’d look at the valve cover gasket .

They looked like bubbles to me.

Check on the dipstick, or drain some and see how it looks?

Mostly on the circular ring that the ground electrode sits inside of (and that the other comes out of), and the threads. Not sure if those are top or bottom.

No magnets, and doubt it has anything to do with the drain plug, since this oil  came out last and the drain plug was removed first (and looked clean).

Yeah that’s weird. Have you thought about getting an oil sample analysis kit?

The dipstick should let you see if it’s turning into milkshake. How’s the coolant look?

Checked it a month or two ago: s hook it and heard something rattling, which my book told me indicates that  it’s functional.
